Take His Name (But Not In Vain)

To use God’s holy name as a curse word is a foolish and fearful thing. But as Sis. Diana explains in today’s devotion, there is a deeper meaning to this commandment. The original text refers to “taking” God’s name as “carrying His name” or “living by His name.” As Christians, our daily lives are a representation of a Holy God! May we never take, or carry His name in vain!
