At His Table

Cheese And Crackers

As we approach Thanksgiving, all of us are probably thinking about the food that'll be spread out on the table. Today, Richard shares the story of a poor immigrant who could only afford to eat cheese and crackers. May we learn from this man's situation in our own Christian journey.

One Thing

Oftentimes when we're struggling in our walk with the Lord, we can trace our issues down to "one thing". Today Sandy reminds us, that even when one thing seems insignificant, it must be taken care of, or it'll lead to other issues.

Second Chair

Whether in an orchestra or school band, "first chair" is coveted by all musicians. In life people also strive to be in the "first chair" position. But in today's devotion, we learn the importance of preferring others and especially Christ above ourselves. We must always play second chair, and allow Christ to be first!

Our Anywhere Anytime God

Today Bro. David shares the story of a submarine crew rescued from the bottom of the ocean. We are also reminded that our God is not only the God of yesterday, but He is the God of today and tomorrow! We serve an anywhere, anytime God!

Isaiah Encounter

We all have particular years when major events have taken place in our lives. The prophet Isaiah also had such a year when his friend, King Uzziah died a leper's death. King Uzziah's tragic death was the result of his disobedience to God. But Isaiah had an encounter that changed his whole perspective! He said I saw also the Lord high and lifted up!

Throw Out The Towel

We've all heard the phrase "throw in the towel" which originates from the sport of boxing. Richard describes this unique tradition of ending a fight. He also explains what happens when the towel is thrown back out!

The Prick

We've all experienced an uneasy feeling in the middle of a normal day. Many times we call it a "prick". Today Sandy encourages us to never override this but to stay sensitive to God's leading.

Fate of Man – Faithfulness of God

The fall of Adam and Eve brought to mankind a terrible fate. So how can we face these daily temptations and trials? Sis. Rita encourages us that God in His faithfulness has given us a way of escape!
