At His Table

Setbacks Into Comebacks

As we enter into a New Year, we often find ourselves making resolutions while trying to create a new beginning. In today's devotion, Rita tells about a man who allowed God to turn his setbacks into a glorious comeback. The good news is that God can do the same for you!

Whiter Than Snow

It's so beautiful to look at a fresh blanket of snow in the wintertime. There's nothing on earth that's whiter than snow. In Psalms 51:7, David prays in repentance with the words, "wash me, and I shall be "whiter" than snow." Every time we pray for another cleansing, the Lord gladly begins to wash us with the water of His Word and He "purifies" us again.

Prepare For Revival

As we prepare to enter into the New Year, Sis. Diana encourages us to prepare for revival! Let's join together in believing that within our own churches, there will be an awakening and a renewing of God's Spirit. Though we are walking in the midst of trouble, revive us again oh Lord!

Beyond Imagination

Today, Richard gives us a behind-the-scenes tour of how our YouTube devotions are recorded. Then we read the Christmas story found in the Gospel of Luke. God could have chosen any elaborate setting for the birth of Jesus Christ. But the King of all kings left His throne in Heaven and exchanged it for a manger. Jesus came as a baby, died a cruel death for our sins so that we could have everlasting life! The miracle of Christmas is truly beyond our greatest imagination!

Unexpected Storm

Today, Sandy tells of a rare December tornado that threatened our community in Oklahoma. As Christians, we will also face storms that catch us by surprise and overwhelm our souls. But God is with us and will keep us safe through every unexpected storm!

Divine Interruption

Can you imagine how Mary and Joseph felt when God divinely interrupted their lives and appointed them to be the earthly parents of His Son? All of us will experience our own divine interruption. If you are struggling with the will of God, may you be encouraged and challenged by today's devotion.

Spiritual Appetite

Jesus said, "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." If we are physically healthy, we have an appetite for natural food. Bro. David challenges us to renew our spiritual appetite for the nourishment at God's Table.

Remember His Benefits

Psalms 103:2 instructs us not to forget the benefits of the Lord. You may ask, "But how can I be thankful for God's benefits in my trial?" Today, Sis. Diana shares some inspiring stories of people who chose to be thankful when their lives were turned upside down. When we remember what God has already done, our souls can experience sweet peace and find hope for the days ahead.
