Christmas Time Is Here!

As we look toward the Christmas season, we are thinking of you, our dear friends. You are in our prayers and we would like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

We had a wonderful pre-Thanksgiving revival with Pastor Lonnie Duckett and the good folks at Midway Full Gospel. We then celebrated Thanksgiving a few days early with Mom’s family. It was wonderful to see everyone again.

Shortly after this (on Thanksgiving morning), Grandma Blythe was taken by ambulance to the hospital, where she was diagnosed with a severe UTI and pneumonia in both lungs. As we mentioned in our last newsletter, she is 89 and recently lost her husband (Grandpa Blythe) of over 70 years. She needs much prayer during the recovery process.

With family members staying with Grandma around the clock, we traveled to McAlester, OK, for a weekend ministry trip. The first night was scheduled to be a time of singing Christmas songs, but it turned into a mighty move of the Lord. The Reason for the Season showed up in all of His glory!

Sis. Rita’s mother and sister, Sheila, had hoped to attend. Sadly, they were not able to make it due to Sheila’s ongoing medical issues. We are very thankful to report that Sheila is finally at home, yet she still has many health challenges and needs your continued prayers.
