Two thousand years ago, the cry of a baby was heard in Bethlehem. To many, it was just another child being born under the oppression of Rome. But there was something different about this cry. Something that would change the world. To understand the significance of this, let's rewind back another
2 cups quinoa, rinsed
3 & 1/4 cups water
2 tsp salt
1/3 cup olive oil
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 med size onion chopped fine or pureed
2 Roma tomatoes, chopped fine
1/2 cup cucumber or celery, chopped fine
3/4 tsp garlic powder
Healthy dash of salt & pepper
2 Tbsps dried or fresh parsley flakes
Combine
2 large cans Dole pineapple juice
1 jug (2 quarts) pulp free orange juice
1 cup sugar
1 pkg lemonade Kool-aid
1 can condensed milk
4 drops orange food coloring, optional
1 container orange sherbet
Mix all ingredients, except sherbet and freeze until slushy.
Pour into punch bowl and top with
4 eggs (or 2 eggs and use egg replacers for the equivalent of the other 2 eggs)
1 2/3 cup sugar
1 stick REAL butter (room temperature)
1/4 cup olive oil
2 cups cooked & cooled, mashed sweet potatoes
2 cups Aldi brand, Gluten Free flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 tsp
