Prayers Needed For Sis. Rita

Dear friends, The Blythe Family requests your prayers for an urgent situation. As some of you may know, Sis Rita of our group has been suffering from a growing mass on her right side. In the past few weeks, this breast mass has grown exponentially with increased bleeding. Last Thursday, she began to hemorrhage extensively which required an emergency trip to the hospital. Testing has shown that this mass is contained and has not spread to the chest cavities, nor has her lymph nodes been invaded. Two lymph nodes were found to be “aggravated” but we praise the Lord for the good news so far.

Last night, we had prayer as you can see in the photo. We were joined over the phone by the Deane family as we asked for God’s direction for the events ahead of us.

Today Sis. Rita is scheduled for a biopsy. The surgeon says that today’s testing will give more definite answers to the path of mastectomy. These unexpected events have put our schedule on hold, but we are not discouraged as we continue in the path that God has directed! God is already at work and we look forward to sharing more information later. Romans 8:28 is one of our favorite ministry verses and we are standing on its promise.
